These leek balls can be served as snack.

Materials/Ingredients
  • 400gr minced meat
  • rusk or bread-crumbs
  • 4 eggs
  • 125gr leek white
  • 1clove of garlic
  • 1 onion (size of an egg)
  • 1 theespoon of curry powder
  • dried oregano
  • pepper
  • salt
Procedure

Step 1: prepare the minced meat

Mix 400gr minced meat with 2 eggs and rusk or bread-crumbs

Step 2:

Cut 125gr leek white and 1 clove of garlic and the onion very fine.
Stew the vegetables with 1 theespoon of curry powder, dried oregano and pepper and salt.
Let it cooling down

Step 3:

Mix the minced meat from step 1 with the vegatables from step 2

Step 4:

Make little balls from the mixture (diam. 2cm) and let put them in the frigde to firm up

Step 5:

Take the 2 remaining eggs and preserve the egg white.
Roll the balls into the egg white and then immediately into bread-crumbs

Step 6:

Fry the balls.

Enjoy your meal
